HOW I WILL BE KEEPING YOU SAFE

HEALTH, SAFETY & HYGIENE

As a nurse of 17 years, infection control has always been paramount in my work as a nurse and as a clinical reflexologist. As always my couch is stripped after every client and towels are all clean and sterilised ready for each appointment. All tools are sterilised in my steriliser for a minimum of 30 minutes. Blankets will also be changed between each client so you can rest assured that everything is fresh and clean ready for your treatment. The bathroom will be locked upstairs so if you do need to use the bathroom you will be able to use it knowing that it is clean and ready for you. As always there will be hand soap and individual towels for you to use and pop in the basket after use. 

HAND SANITISER

As you enter through the front door there will be a sign and a wall mounted sanitiser for you to use before you enter my treatment room or alternatively you can use the hand ritual tray when you enter the room. Hand Sanitiser will also be available for after your treatment should you wish to use it.

PPE

As the government guidelines specify all close contact services may need to wear PPE. As your therapist I will be adhering to whatever the government says so that it is safe to open. As a client you are not obliged to wear PPE however if you do want to I have disposable masks readily available for you. I will be wearing a mask for all foot treatments. Any treatments from the waist up I will be wearing a mask and visor.

APPOINTMENT TIMES

In order for me to clean down all surfaces between clients I am leaving a period of time between each appointment.  I ask that you do not arrive any more than 10 minutes earlier than your allocated appointment time. My waiting room will be open so if my door is closed please wait patiently in there. If you haven't completed a COVID form before you arrive you will find these on the table. Please complete this before entering my room. 

COATS, BAGS & BELONGINGS

In light of the current situation please only bring what is absolutely necessary into the treatment room. If you do need to bring a coat and bag these need to be placed in the basket provided and mobile phones to be in you bag preferably with them on silent so you can enjoy your treatment.

PAYMENTS

Contactless payment or bank transfer would be greatly appreciated at the minute to minimise the need to handle cash. If you do need to pay by cash I ask that you have the correct money and it can be placed in the container provided. The card machine will also be cleaned between each appointment.

AFTERCARE

Following every appointment I usually give a glass of water. Following government guidelines we are no longer able to provide refreshments unless it is in a disposable cup. I will now provide this in a paper cup, however if you wish to bring a bottle of water you are more than welcome to do this.

PRE- SCREENING HEALTH FORM FOR COVID-19

This is now a requirement as per government guidelines. This will be required to be completed BEFORE every appointment. This will be sent to your preferred way of contact. If text or email doesn't work for you I can always give you a call the day before to go through the form, please let me know on booking, your preference. These will also be available in the waiting room if not completed before you arrive.

NEW CLIENT CONSULTATION

For the time being all new clients will be required to compete the consultation form prior to the appointment. This can be sent via email for you to complete. 

BOOKINGS

As soon as the government gives the holistic therapy sector the go ahead to open I will contact you all individually starting with those appointments I had to cancel at the start of lockdown. I will then move to my waiting list and hopefully get you all booked in as soon as I can.

I would just like to say a huge thankyou to all of you for your continued support throughout the last year. It has been lovely to hear from you and so nice of you to keep me updated on your adventures/family times whilst been in lockdown. 

You can rest assured that despite the changes I am required to make this will not in any way compromise your treatments . There will still be just as much love and attention given as there always was.
